this is a link to the episode REFUGEE OLYMPIC TEAM

this episode was about how in the Olympics there is now a refugee team and how some of them had to do thing like swim for there life to safety. why did they not do this before in other years? it could have helped refugees do what they have always wanted to do. in this team they have 10 people that have trained in things like swimming, running and judo to compete under the Olympic flag. i understand why they made a refugee team for the Olympics this year because it would have been really annoying if there chances where taken away from you just because you where a refugee. they where given there own coaches, uniform and chef that was all payed for by the IRSC. i wonder if the refugee team will get bigger in the next Olympics in Tokyo.

prompt …as I stared into the water it began to turn green…

it was the end of the school day so i was siting on the seat doing my boring homework. i just don’t get it the moment kids get home from school the have to do more work. it’s just pathetic and not only that they normally make it stuff that we where just learning at school. after finishing my homework  it was already time for dinner. so i ate my dinner you know the boring not cooked properly kind. it was time to have a shower as i stared into the water it began to turn GREEN!

camp writing poem

We were at Questacon

Going into different galleries

Confused, excited and full of happiness

But the most impressive thing was the slide!

So big and tall

Dangerous and scary

Fun and exhilarating

Not your average slide!

Tall and goes straight down

But…It’s got a bend at the end

Waiting in line to go on the ultimate slide

Waiting… a very long long time

They hand me a big orange suit

They said “put it on!” even though it’s very lose

So saggy but so bright

It almost gave me a fright

It did not smell or feel quite right

Watching tons of people fly down

They called me up to the precarious height

Up the raggety stair case

To the top of the empire state spire

It was my turn

So I sat down on the little bench

Put my hands on the bar

Lifted myself down

Looked down at the crowd below

Took a deep breath and

It was so fun

It was so so so fun

It made my so happy

I want to go on it again

principals poem

This is a poem for you our principals of this school

You help us to be the person we are and the person we want to be.

This is for you our guardians of this school.

I love the way you all bring such joy to this role.

I love how you all play the role.

Although I don’t know all of you much as much as I might, I know it’s ok to tell this all.

You care and you’re always there.

You play and you always stay.

You work at school and you’re really cool.

You smile with great style.

This is why you’re our principals and why you were chosen for this role.

We love the way you show respect and optimism towards us.

We like you being our principals!

this piece of writing is a comparison to 2 different earthquakes the Chile and Haiti earthquake. they both happened in 2010. what was similar and what was different about the you may ask the answers are just below.

the earthquake in Chile was an 8.8 magnitude earthquake and was much bigger than the Haiti earthquake that was a 7.0 magnitude earthquake. it may not seem that much but it is a huge differences. but lets get more onto what is similar and what was different about this quakes.

these quakes where both in the same year and only a month apart. they both are big quakes.

even that the Chile earthquake had was bigger it only killed about 500 people where the Haiti quake killed about 250 000 people.
